1. How do traditional publishers build up trust?

Answer

The traditional publishers build up trust by provide the promising:

-a level of readability (through copy-editing and page design). The degree to which the copy is well-written as well as optimized for reading on the Web. The readability of text is affected by many factors including, but not limited to: the color of the text in relation to the background color, the font, the spacing between words and between lines of text, the length of lines of text, how blocky and dense the paragraphs appear, text justification, the complexity of the grammar and the education level of your audience.

-ease of use (through cross referencing, indexing, book design)

-safeguarding writers (staff writer salaries, royalties or fees, copyright protection) is means of preventing personnel from coming in contact.

-distribution (through market targeting, advertising, etc) it is the most important part to get the reader's attention to see from what we have done so far on writing for the internet.

2. What is it so difficult to design for screen reading?

Answer

-quick navigation (The means by which a user can click and search for real quick from page to page on a website.

-up-to-date information (fresh information, the latest information or changes)

-searching (The act and process of locating information in various sources)

-and etc.

3. Why is it so difficult to design for screen reading?

Answer

because of Platforms, Resolution, Fonts and Old conventions. So, it means the design for screen reading have to make it easy for users by being readable.

4. Which fonts look better on the web? Why?

Answer

The fonts that look better on the web are Arial, Arial Black, Courier New, Impact, Times New Roman, and etc. Most of them must be look good on the screens and are universally abailable.

5. For web pages, which is more important, design or text?

Answer

First of all, I would like to say, both of them are very important, because design and text have to go together for the best result when everything are on the web pages

6. What is copyright? How does it apply to the web?

Answer

The copyright is the ownership of the idea or work that control by law. The laws of copyright apply to the Internet exactly as they do to print. For example, the contents of these pages are copyright and contributors 2005, 2006.

7. How does linearity pose a problem for the web?

Answer

The step by step approach doesn't work well. It's sometime lack of technology. For example, user expect to go backward of the webpage but when the user click on the backward bottom then it doesn't work or not go back anymore.
